1800's Crazy Quilt

As promised here are four of the blocks from the one quilt that has old blocks but I don't think it was put together by the original maker. Each block has an old ribbon in the center.

Thanks for the tour, Karen. It seems like older quilt blocks were stitched with fast techniques, unlike our modern more "crusty" ones. Considering how many unfinished blocks/quilts we find today, can you imagine how many THIS generation is going to leave behind? And how much of what our friends are doing today that will some day be on museum walls? Cool thought....

Interesting to see the stitching that they used. And the thread. I like the look of the white thread that is around the fabric with the embroidered daisy.
