The Needle Threader

I remember when I was a young girl my grandmother would always ask me to thread her needles when I went for a visit. She was an avid quilter and needed a lot of needles threaded to keep up with her quilting. Now as I get older I understand why she wanted someone with younger eyes to thread those pesky tiny little needles!

A friend turned me on to the Clover Needle threader several months ago and it helped so much as I have been having trouble threading those tiny needles. Thankfully my new glasses have helped a little. Only problem with the Clover model is it would only thread certain needles. It wouldn't work for the larger needles but still it was a handy little gadget!

Now for the rest of the story .... while in Nashville going from booth to booth my friend (she can spot new toys from a mile away) spotted this needle threader. It threads needles from two sides and it will thread the larger eyed needles as well as the small needles. It works great! I will never be without this gadget again. It makes life so much easier not spending five minutes trying to get the thread into the tiny little hole. Ahhhh life is good!

I'm glad to see this post - I thought it was just me, or my threader that wouldn't work. So, it's because the needles are too big.

Your new needle threader sounds like just the gaget I need too. Could you pass on the company's name please?
Thanks so much.

Diane, the package says it is an Escort II and the only name I see on the package is Bohn France. I have emailed the quilting store I bought it from "The Back Door" to see if they can give me more information. I'll let you know what I find out.

Thank you Karen. I'll try searching here (Canada) to see if there are any suppliers.
