Another good thing about spring and summer is that I get to start painting my fabrics again. I don't like to do it in the winter because of the mess and I like to dry my fabric out in the sun. I'm making plans to attend Omaha for the Crazy Quilt conference this July. I have my plane tickets and we made our hotel reservations this past week. Now to decide on which class...I'm leaning toward the dyeing class to see if I can learn more about the art of dyeing!

Karen, those fabrics are beautiful! It looks like you had a wonderful time doing them.

I just love the tiny flowers you made around your baby picture, too. So delicate looking. The ginger jar looks really authentic, too. My mother had several.

I am moving out of my house - and have found 150 year old photos of grandparents, etc. etc. WOW what a great idea.. Plus my baby pics.
