Another good thing about spring and summer is that I get to start painting my fabrics again. I don't like to do it in the winter because of the mess and I like to dry my fabric out in the sun. I'm making plans to attend Omaha for the Crazy Quilt conference this July. I have my plane tickets and we made our hotel reservations this past week. Now to decide on which class...I'm leaning toward the dyeing class to see if I can learn more about the art of dyeing!

Karen, those fabrics are beautiful! It looks like you had a wonderful time doing them.

I just love the tiny flowers you made around your baby picture, too. So delicate looking. The ginger jar looks really authentic, too. My mother had several.

So glad you left me a comment - now i know where you are and can look at and admire your work. The colors in the lower picture are yummy!!!! Keep up the dyeing - you do it well. JAH P.S. I am moving out of my house - and have found 150 year old photos of grandparents, etc. etc. WOW what a great idea.. Plus my baby pics.
