All you need is a button, with 4 holes, some green thread and a bead. Line the button up the way that you want it to be when finished and bring the thread up through the bottom hole and down through the other 3 holes always coming back up through the bottom hole. Sew the bead on the top hole or even use a french knot and simple as can be you have a unique way of attaching the button to your project.

Attaching a Button to look like a flower.
I'm always amazed when I check my stats and see the most popular page that brings the most people to my blog was one I posted in 2009. It is the picture of how I made my buttons look like flowers using a bead and thread,
