EGA Panels

I took a few close up detail shots of the tapestry. The panels have beading, raised embroidery, counted cross stitch and a variety of other stitches. It is amazing how many regions and people worked on this beautiful project. Superb work and truly a masterpiece of our times. Hopefully a lot of people will enjoy it for many more years to come.
You can look at it over and over again and see things you didn't see the first time.

Karne, thank you posting all the photos from EGA headquarters - how wonderful they must be in real life.

I especially love the "tapestry" panels - they have me quite excited. I would love to try mixing all sorts of embrodiery like that; it sounds wonderful - though not quite on that scale of course LOL!!

Hmmmmm - it's 12:50am right now (I couldn't sleep) - is that too late to start do you think? :)

Wow, the stitching is incredible! I would love to see it in person.
