FFT Round Robin - Diane Miller's Block

Here are a few pictures of the latest RR block I worked on. It belongs to Diane Miller and it's coming together real nice.


I added the spider and web with the greenery along the top corner. I also did the pink cretan stitch along the edge and added the beads. I added the seam below using the same pink beads and thread to pull the area together. (You can see that seam below in the 'whole' block picture).

I stitched the button hole stitch around the pink circle and added the beads to match. I thought the seam below the gisha lady needed a little black to tie that area together so I did a black herringbone along the seam.

Here is a picture of the whole block. Looks pretty good!

Dear karen, such neat and I mean neat embroidery. You do lovely stitchery. The geisha really speaks to me, what is it about that image? Did you check out mine on my blog?
