Before I boarded the plane yesterday I pre-threaded a handfull of needles for the plane trip. I was in the air for 2 1/2 hours and I'm very happy with the amount of stitching I accomplished. The pictures are not the greatest but January TIF block is almost finished. Just a few more beads and some additional buttons for the button cluster and I'll declare it finished. Of course the buttons will have to wait until I can unpack them.

I got a lot of stitching done on February's block. Should be finished with it before the end of the month. Once again not a great picture...the colors are pretty washed out so I'll work on getting a better picture when I'm finished. I'm auditioning the piece of lace on the bottom corner. I'm not sure this block calls for lace. It has a more modern feel to it ... I'll have to do some more stitching and see what life the block takes on. The lace may stay or it may go ...

In the meantime I'm enjoying my stay in Texas ... Here is a view outside my balcony window.

that looks like the opryland hotel.. that place is AMAZING!! We didn't stay there but we took an hour or two to walk thru some of it.. if you stay there there isn't much need to even leave!!

I love both the blocks. I'm in favor of leaving the lace, but it isn't my block. =) Thanks for the hotel balcony picture!
