I see where it is snowing in parts of the US today. I guess winter is setting in for many of us. It is a cold, wet, rainy day here and I decided to make a pot of chili and do a little web surfing. Having high speed access has really changed the way I view the web. Who knew dial-up was so slow!?

Today I decided to check out a few sites that have video web cast. The first one I checked out was Bonnie McCaffery's VidCasts. They are free and a great way to check out what's up in the quilting world. Be sure to check out #18 if you want a tour of the 2007 Houston Quilt Festival.

Next I surfed over to Alex Anderson and Ricky Tim's new quilting site. "The Quilt Show", you are allowed to watch one show for free to see if you like it. I did!

Alex and Ricky have done a great job using the Internet as a new venue for quilters to learn and keep up with the latest in quilting. I plan to sign up and watch all the episodes. It's great having the shows right at your fingertips so you can watch at your leisure.

I think I'll head back to the site and see if any Crazy Quilters have been spotlighted yet. If not I think I will send a request to them to see if they plan to anytime soon.

I'm glad I'm not in that wintery part of the country! I'm cold enough at 60 and sunny - just poked my nose out the door, that's all!

Let me know if any CQ shows up over there.

And it was crazy warm here...t-shirt weather all day! No wonder everyone is sick and has a cold. ;-)

Karen, thanks for sharing the websites. I find it interesting, donate what you think it's worth on Bonnie McCaffery's website.

Yep, we are finally getting cold in Louisville, it is winter after all.
