I've always loved to read but I notice as I get older my eyesight doesn't allow me to read like I use to and life gets in the way and I just don't have as much time as I would like to indulge my passion. But this past week I discovered the world of books on Tape/CD's.

At the recommendation of a friend I went online and ordered some books from the library. One of them was "The Sugar Camp Quilt" by Jennifer Chiaverini. Not paying close attention to what I was doing, I was surprised when I went to the library and I discovered I'd ordered a CD. Now it seems like my world has changed just a little bit and I will be 'reading' more books this way. It is a blast!

I can do 2 things at once and driving now is not such a bore! I actually look forward to my next opportunity to drive somewhere so I can listen to the next chapter! So if anyone has any recommendations of books on tape I need to listen to please send me the title and I will see if the library carries it!

A book to listen to..not a new book but I listed to it on the way to Asheville, NC to go to the Biltmore with friends. It was called "The Clone and I" by Danielle Steele.. not one of her typical books.. completely wacky.. but I really loved it.

Thanks Willa! I'll check out the library this weekend and see if they have it in stock.
