I'm back from my trip to the Crazy Quilt Conference in Omaha Nebraska. A fun time was had by all as we caught up on old friendships and made new ones.

The weather was a topic of conversation this year also, as we had some dandy storms. It was different watching the weather channel from a different state. When they started posting the tornado warnings we had to figure out if we were included in the warning. We were not sure what county we were in! No serious damage was done around us and I was relieved.

I saw lots of beautiful projects and I believe I will have to find out more about flower pounding. Bonnie Turner taught a class and her work was lovely.

If you ever get a chance to attend a conference or workshop I recommend it strongly. Seeing what others are doing in person is great! and very motivational. Now it's back to work on my projects.

Karen: Lovely work! Missed seeing you in Omaha this year. I hear everyone had a great time. Here's hoping I'll be there next year.

Thanks LouAnne,

I think everyone had fun and the crazy quilters of the world are doing some great work! I'm totally motivated to finish some of my projects. LOL ... I almost said start a new one but I'm trying so hard to be good and finish some UFO's.
