It's been a hot, hot week here with record breaking tempertures. They say tempers flare when it gets hot and I tend to agree. I was not the happiest of campers this week while trying to stay somewhat cool in 100 plus degree temps!

Vera-Ellen and I had a great visit last Saturday and she presented me with this heart! She used some of the sequins I posted about last week. See the tiny little beads on the end of the featherstitches ... well look again! LOL ... they are the 2mm sequins. She attached them with a single strand of DMC floss and they look great.

I'm about finished with the blue block I started several weeks ago. I think I will add a few more small things today and get it in the mail this week. I found a great red glass heart to put in the center of the flower and the blue star beads came from the bead store where Pam and I shopped on her visit to Louisville.

UPDATE: Sold Out - all the packages have found new homes. When I order again I'll be sure to let you know.
While in Omaha I saw a Artist Trading Card made by Martha Green using really, really, tiny sequins! I have never seen them this small and was fascinated by them.
When I came home a friend sent me a link where I could buy these tiny little sequin so I jumped in and bought 7 different packages.
After they arrived I knew I would never use all of these 2mm sequin so if anyone wants to share some of these check out my CQ Treasures Blog. I put together several smaller variety packs and will offer them to the those who may want to give them a try but don't want to invest a lot just to try them out!

Only $2.00 which includes postage!
